The Next Few Months: an Announcement, a Reveal, a Release

Not so long ago, I wished to be crazy busy, writing on deadlines, pumping out book after book. Well, I’ll have four books published by the end of this year, and I’m writing six more. There are days when I’m overwhelmed, and I think I’m crazy, and then I remember I wished to be crazy. So yay! Wishes do come true. 🙂

Honestly, I’m thrilled. To be able to write what I want to write when I want to write it is magical. To be able to listen to what readers ask for (ex. a closer release date for Grey) and to give it to them is amazing. I am blessed! (But I’m going to back away from this topic right now, before I cry, because it’s too hard to see the screen when my eyes are fogged over with tears.)

Anyhow, here’s what to expect from the next few months…

An announcement. (Yes, Emma, I’m teasing you.) Notice I said I have six more books to write for a total of ten. With three series, featuring three books each, there’s an extra book in that ten-count. The offer to write this mystery book was unexpected, and I’m stoked to be involved in the project.

A cover reveal.  Crashing the Congressman’s Wedding: A Harmony Falls Novel releases in two months, so there is still lots of time for this, but I have a hunch the cover is coming soon–at least a draft of the cover. I’m anxious, because this cover should feel very different from Save My Soul, because the book is very different. Crashing is a fun and flirty read compared to Save My Soul, and I want the cover to reflect that. Besides, the heroine is Marilyn-esque. She has platinum blonde hair and owns a theatre. AND she’s in love with the last man on earth who wants to deal with her drama–a straight-laced congressman. Imagine the fun this cover could have!

A release. I cannot wait for you to read Crashing the Congressman’s Wedding: A Harmony Falls Novel. July 15 is the release date, but I’ll be giving away an ARC or two as soon as I can.

I think that’s it. Of course, that’s not it. There is so much more, but I get bored, and I have to write-write, so we’ll talk later. But…before I go, here’s a glimpse of the hero you’ll get to know better in July…

Congressman Justin Mitchell, an upstanding, straight-laced man, willing to do just about anything to fulfill his father’s legacy
